Moving Portraits

When I was asked to photograph a chess inspired exhibition I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but it turned out to be the most fun event I have worked on yet! Nette Robinson studied Fine Art & Music at University College Chichester. Her visual art has been greatly influenced by her other passions and interests and four years ago Nette discovered and fell in love with chess. 2011 saw the beginnings of her next major creative project when she began painting portraits of chess Grandmasters and positions from famous games.  Since this time, Nette has exhibited her work at major chess tournaments and most recently at her solo exhibition in the Chess Art Exhibition and Festival at Art Galleries Europe, Mayfair.
